Artichokes with goat cheese

Generally, we use the goat cheese for salads, it makes a perfect combination, slightly tempered, it is a delight for the palate. A friend of ours elaborates a recipe that is also very tasty, when we tried it, we loved it and we pointed out the preparation of artichokes with goat curlers in our private recipe book.

The ingredients 14 artichokes, 3 steps, 125 grams of diced serrano ham, 16 slices of a centimeter thick goat cheese, 3 tomatoes, 1 lemon, 1 tablespoon of flour, 1 finger of oil, salt and pepper

The preparation You will leave only the hearts of the artichokes, for this, you will remove the outer leaves and cut all of them by the stem base. Sprinkle with lemon the artichokes and put a pot with boiling water. Put the artichokes and flour in the pot and cook for 10 minutes. In a saucepan, scald the tomatoes for a couple of minutes with boiling water, drain and peel them by removing the seeds, then cut them into small pieces. Put the tomato cubes in a pan with a little oil and skip them over high heat until you see that they have lost all their water, season them and reserve them.

Heat a little oil and sauté the previously chopped steps, then add the serrano ham and salt and pepper. In the same pan, add the artichokes and a little more oil and finish browning the artichokes, remove the pan and arrange the artichokes in a baking dish by adding a slice of goat's cheese on them.

Bake with the grill for a couple of minutes and arrange the artichokes on the plates, accompanying them with the reserved tomato and the side dish of ham and steps.

Tasting The artichokes themselves are already tasty, but the touch of cheese gives them an extraordinary flavor that will intoxicate your palate.
